Surgical plan and results in operating room

Dr. Crisosto

Surgical planning consisted of freeing the huge hernia from its adhesions in the lung and mediastinum and then introducing the organs in question into the abdominal cavity without opening the hernia sac.

The 3D model was used to plan the surgical strategy and guide the surgeons in the thoracic approach during the procedure.
